The place looks great, but the interior feels worn out. We thought it was overpriced for what we got and were shocked to see we had to pay extra for breakfast. The facilities are dated and the decor and lighting need updating. The hotel sits in a fantastic spot with lovely gardens, yet the price for that combination is too steep, and having to pay more for breakfast is unacceptable.

Breakfast was superb, though the main menu was limited. The tea maker in the room and the sanitary bin in the bathroom were inconvenient.

The hotel is beautiful and the service excellent. Our room on the 2nd floor required us to climb two very steep staircases, and the electric charging points kept cutting out.

The interior and exterior were beautiful. Our suite was spacious and well equipped, with fabulous bed linen and towels. Endsleigh feels more like a home than a hotel. The sitting room is relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast on the covered terrace is very relaxing, and the valley view makes for a perfect start to the day. The staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble. Nothing. It’s pretty much perfect.
