The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, tasteful and welcoming, and the heaters and lights were already on when we got there.

“A great place to stay!”

The place was very clean, tidy and warm, with all the supplies you need for a comfortable stay. It had a separate lounge room, bedroom and fully equipped bathroom, all of which were spacious. Ross was very friendly and helpful, greeting us on arrival and giving recommendations for dinner; we went to the Sprig and Fern and really enjoyed them. We slept well. The room was dark and the location quiet and peaceful. I didn’t realize when I booked that this accommodation was within Ross’s home and there was shared access, but we had the upstairs rooms and the rest of the home was at the back, so it felt quite separate. The bed was a little firm, but that is purely personal preference.

“Lovely location with easy beautiful walks availablealong Motueka beach. Great bike tracks around easy access to town wit”

The gardens were lovely and the views included the mountains and a sandbar over the top of houses.

“Excellent stay at Motueka by the Sea”

The place was exceptionally clean with a great layout, a sitting area, a lovely balcony with a view, an outside table and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was well supplied. Breakfast included cereal, tea, coffee, milk and yogurt, all very good. Combined with Ross’s warm welcome, this made for a most enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend Motueka by the Sea!
