The place was well situated and reasonably priced, but the bathroom light and fan were noisy and clearly needed replacement. I mentioned it to staff, who were apologetic, but it didn’t ruin my stay.

The staff were extremely courteous. There’s a small garden with a seating area and a grill for guests. The rooms, curtains, carpet, walls, and bathroom were well maintained, though the furnishings showed noticeable wear.

The beds were comfortable and the location is great, with easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants in Parksville. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Everything else was fine.

The staff were very welcoming, especially the person who greeted me. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. I told the front‑desk staff at check‑out that I wished there were a night light in the bathroom; when all lights are off it’s very dark and getting up at night is impossible. A small light plugged into the bathroom would make a huge difference. The mirror light was wired to the bathroom fan/light, so if it were separate I could use it. Lighting is crucial, and bright, uncontrollable lights are unpleasant.
