The owner has a great personality, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the facilities are well maintained and ready, with no complaints. The shop owner of the front-facing shop is also warm and pleasant, giving a soothing sense of community throughout the area. The only downside is that there were about three termites around the bed; coming from a rural old house, I expected this, but for city dwellers who hate insects, it might be a problem.

The place was very clean, the triple room was huge and comfortable, and I could do laundry on the balcony, which was a real help. All the supplies were available, so I never had any trouble. The only slight issue was that the check‑in time was short, which was a bit inconvenient.

Just next to Wadazukubunjin, it’s the perfect spot for a base while walking the Nakasendo. The building itself is an old house, and relaxing on the living room sofa or having breakfast in the kitchen gave the stay a unique, non‑ordinary feel that differed from a typical inn.

The interior was kept clean and the room was a decent size, so I had a comfortable stay. The only drawback was that there was no TV.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. There were books about the history of Wada Village, which was also educational. It would have been better if there had been a dryer.
