“Bergparadies mit Traumpanorama und Käse-Schlemmerei”
We were invited to a family celebration in a neighbouring town and were just looking for a cheap place to stay, but what we discovered was a truly cosy, family‑run mountain inn with a stunning panorama that feels tailor‑made for families, hiking groups, and anyone who loves and wants to savour rural life. Vreni and Melchior Schoch have run this inn for 24 years, and you can feel how much it means to them. Every guest is personally welcomed at the table and always gets a friendly chat. Rooms come in various sizes – from double rooms to family rooms with multiple bunk beds – all simple yet very comfortable. Separate toilets and showers for men and women are located outside the rooms, but everything there is spotless and well‑equipped. Unfortunately the in‑house cheese factory is no longer operating, but the many different cheeses – each tastier than the last 😋 – are still produced in the neighbouring town according to house recipes and served at the inn on weekends for breakfast – an experience you simply have to indulge in! What we had planned as a short stay turned into a proper mini‑vacation, and we loved it and can recommend the inn without reservation!
