Breakfast was abundant, thoughtfully arranged, and left no room for complaints, though the coffee could have been a touch stronger; the rooms were spacious, clean, and exuded Mediterranean charm, fitting the very old building that has been lovingly restored, “old but bright”; the warm host gave a sense of calm and security in a small town that deserves more attention.

The spot right at the foot of the hill was lovely, and the breakfast included a small play area that worked out well. The city feels almost abandoned, so finding an open restaurant in the evening was hard. The floorboards in the room were very noisy and the tiles in the bathroom were loose.

The accommodation is in a very pretty old building right next to the mill; the old walls give it a majestic, authentic vibe. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. When I asked them to remove some weaver spiders from my room—an almost unavoidable issue in such an old building—they responded immediately and very kindly, making me feel taken seriously and well cared for. What I liked less was the presence of those weaver spiders in my room, which I personally couldn’t get along with; in an old building this is hardly avoidable and isn’t really a fault of the property, so I should have considered that beforehand. On the bright side, my request was handled right away and the staff happily removed the animals.

The reception was very friendly and open to all requests, and we felt very comfortable.

A beautiful historic hotel with tastefully decorated rooms that blend the old with modern comforts. The hotel owner was very friendly and attentive, and dogs are warmly welcomed. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced, making the hotel highly recommendable.
