I was in Old Quebec and the hotel’s spot was spot on, right next to everything. The staff were friendly and made the stay easy.

The quirky vibe of this hotel is totally justified – it’s genuinely pleasant to live in. The room is very functional and the bed is super comfy. All the services offered matched what we expected. The complimentary breakfast is a real treat. The front‑desk team is truly professional and friendly… I recommend it without hesitation. In fact, nothing was wrong at all; everything matched the description and promised conditions.

We arrived after 7 pm and the hotel didn’t match the photos or description; it felt more like a hostel with a shared kitchen. The front desk was closed, so we had to register at a neighboring hotel. Inside the original hotel, an unpleasant odor lingered, and a loud drying device ran in the room as if a water damage had occurred. The bed had risen up into the ceiling. We moved back to the other hotel and were re‑booked there. Unfortunately, that place was also old‑fashioned, the room’s blinds were broken, and it was almost €70 cheaper than what we had originally paid. We received no compensation. The breakfast vouchers were very basic and disappointing.

Everything – comfort, location, friendliness, shared kitchen, little touches – was great. The room is small but very functional; a tiny extra storage spot would be a nice addition.
