A fantastic stay just outside Rotorua City Lights Boutique Lodge. The service was excellent, everything was exceptionally clean, and Grace was absolutely lovely – welcoming, helpful, and always happy to help. The location is idyllic, just outside Rotorua, with beautiful views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. It was also a great spot for a run, with lovely surroundings and very little traffic. The food was delicious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable – perfect after a busy day exploring Rotorua. And the added highlight? The alpacas! 🦙 They’re so cool, and feeding them was such a fun and unexpected bonus. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful, and very welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back. Nothing to complain about, honestly.

The hosts Grace and David were outstanding—felt like staying with long‑time friends; they cooked breakfast for us and let us feed their alpaca, and the place was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed at.

“Fabulous property with amazing views”

The spot just outside town offers amazing views and resident alpacas; the rooms were nice, well equipped, spotless, and breakfast was lovely.
