The Accessible Guest room offers two double beds and a crib option for families. Climate control includes both air‑conditioning and heating, while a flat‑screen TV with cable channels and a tea‑and‑coffee maker provide in‑room entertainment and refreshment. The room accommodates up to four guests.
“Would've given a higher rating if the A/C wasn't a factor.”
The location was convenient. The air‑conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, even when set to 61, and the air freshener in our room irritated my eyes.
I stayed in their king suite. The deadbolt on the first room was jammed, so I went back to the front desk and she gladly swapped me. The staff even upgraded me to a balcony room. The rooms were clean, the bed super comfy, and the bathroom very tidy and modern. I’d definitely stay again. I can’t comment on the amenities because I didn’t use them, except for the Wi‑Fi. I didn’t find anything I disliked about Courtyard Marriott.
The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly, but the pool was a bit small. The minibar was tiny and would have been better if it were cheaper; overall the price‑to‑amenities ratio wasn’t great.
The first night’s bed and pillows were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the shower was great. After getting ready for bed I was in the bathroom when suddenly something exploded and a light bulb shattered onto the floor, glass everywhere. Maintenance came and cleaned up the mess, telling me they’d move me to a different room the next day. The bulb incident made it hard to exit the bathroom to reach the phone and call the front desk.
“All in all a great hotel giving us a great stay!”
We picked this place because it’s right across from SRQ airport, and that saved us a lot of hassle on our 6:30 AM flight. We had plenty of time to park and get through TSA. The bistro, however, looked abandoned and nobody seemed to eat there during our stay, so we went to a local spot instead.
