I stayed in a big room with a large bed and AC, and the host doubled as a tour guide; we even played volleyball with locals right in front of the hotel, which is right on the beach. The downside was that we visited during low‑season, so there was no official breakfast, but the host improvised egg sandwiches for us.

The room was spotless and the staff were very accommodating to our needs; the shared kitchen was excellent, and the bathroom was spacious and clean.

Staying at Luminozo was fantastic; I keep returning to Weligama because I think I’ve found the best place to stay there. The hotel sits right in front of the beach, the location is great, and the facilities are exceptional. Host Dilshan was very nice and friendly, so I definitely recommend it.

The family room was large enough and had an ocean view. On the first floor, we found ants in the room, but you probably need to be prepared for that.
