Every time we attend the Frankfurt Book Fair, we return to this hotel—it's been 15 years. It’s a cozy, family‑run place just a two‑minute walk from Gustavsburg train station. It feels heartwarming to be remembered after three years, especially when you leave a small hand‑drawn gift and they keep it as a treasure.

If you appreciate the charm of an old hotel, this is the spot; I stayed in a single room that was very spacious with a balcony and everything was clean, though a bit worn, which adds to the charm—including the breakfast dishes. The owner served me a cooked egg, and the owners’ service was great; next time I’ll hit the pool, but I didn’t have time. Overall, a good stay at Hotel Alte Post.
