The unit was lovely and clean with everything I needed. Some people might want a TV, but I had busy days and simply didn’t watch. Heating was great for mid‑winter and the small deck would be a lovely spot in warmer months.

The private entrance and bathroom.

I was pleased with the privacy from the house, the private bathroom, the mini fridge, and the fact that the centre was just a 5‑minute walk away if you’re on foot; the place was very clean and tidy and the staff were happy and friendly. The fridge was tiny, barely fitting a milk bottle and a yogurt container, so I’d have preferred a proper mini fridge, and there was nowhere to cook—having a mini stove or a BBQ outside would have been great.

The location was sensational, the terrace had a table outside, a small fridge, and a coffee machine.

The room was cosy and elegant, the bed was very comfortable and the linen smelled fresh and clean. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave, a small fridge, a jug, tea, coffee, plates, and utensils. The bathroom was new and very clean. The deck and outdoor seating were nice, and the accommodation was very close to town but off‑street, so it felt quiet. Host Karen communicated well, making it a great base to explore Nelson or attend events. Nothing to complain about!
