The reception was always helpful, pleasant, and ready to assist. However, guests were seen smoking at check‑in, holding cigarettes before entering the lift, and a cigarette butt was found on the floor near the lift entrance in my room; I’d also like to see more western breakfast options.

The place sits in a great spot, close to everything you’d want. The downside? It gets pretty loud after dark, so if you’re a light sleeper it might be a bit of a bother.

This new hotel is a gem – walk to Wen Chang Pavilion and the Minsheng Road snack street in minutes. The front desk welcomed me warmly, and the room staff went the extra mile, making me feel right at home.
