The room was cleaned well, but the hotel has no lift, and the room lacks a mirror, which is a big issue for women.

The place was clean and seemed newly opened, the bed was comfy, the reception folks were friendly but couldn’t help with my transport issue, and I enjoyed several hot fresh Gujarati breakfasts and chai at spots near Shivaye; the hotel has no lift, though I was fine climbing the stairs, which could be tough for older or less mobile guests, and the TV was broken, but there was plenty to see outside so I didn’t miss much.

I liked the hotel’s ambience and the staff were extremely cooperative, but there is no lift, making it hard for elderly guests to reach the top floor.
