The house was very beautiful and well‑maintained, run by exceptionally friendly hosts; we felt at home right away and enjoyed a wonderful stay, the food was delicious and the extensive breakfast offering was exemplary, with no complaints at all.

The staff were very pleasant, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, the cuisine was good and the Rumpelbräu beer was excellent.

The place was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, dinner was excellent and the breakfast offered a lot of variety. Nothing to complain about.

We were greeted by very helpful staff and enjoyed the quiet setting, plus the fact that the hotel is reachable by train was a big plus since a train to Freiberg runs every hour. The room facing south was uncomfortably warm, which made sense after the recent heat wave, and the vanity mirror in the bathroom could only be used on tip‑toes by anyone under 175 cm.
