Even though I only stayed one night, I liked the arrangement. There was a Lidl nearby. The morning before we left, we managed to take a walk and visit the city of Zagreb. The staff was very friendly, the beds comfortable. I will definitely come back. It was a unique stay, which is why I chose it.

The bed was comfy and the AC worked well, but the place was filthy—trash hadn’t been emptied, the shower was slimy, and there was no toilet paper. You could hear everyone else, and the room was small and cramped with no kitchen or sitting area.

I loved the creative idea and the sheets were spotless and odor‑free, plus it was just a stone’s throw from Lidl. Still, it felt really unsafe for two solo girls; I was genuinely scared at first, so we only booked one night. The bathroom was unclean, the curtains smelled like they hadn’t been washed, and the doors didn’t close properly, leaving a gap that let anyone outside—there was no keycode to the building—enter and use the bathrooms. Not every light worked, and there were odd people wandering around the hotel.
