The view from the room was nice. The host was not accommodating, not helpful, and not friendly. They gave excuses for refusing even a one‑hour early check‑in or a one‑hour late check‑out, even when rooms were available. They didn’t help with booking a taxi or auto, even though the property is only about 600 m downhill.

The view is amazing—you can see Ella rock, Adam's peak and Yala national park from there.

This is probably the best view you can get in Ella, overlooking Ella Roxk and Little Adam's Peak. Breakfast was also fantastic, mixing typical Sri Lankan cuisine with Western dishes. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There are a few insects, but that’s expected in a mountain cottage and not a big deal.

The accommodation had the best views we’ve seen in Sri Lanka. It was a blast! Waking up with those views is a luxury, the place was very clean and well‑maintained, and the staff were friendly throughout. The drive to get there is a bit tedious, but we arrived without problems, and you can walk to Ella’s center in a few minutes. Breakfast was very complete! I recommend it.

The location outside the main street buzz in Ella feels like a peaceful haven, with a stunning view of the mountains and the valley entrance; the accommodation is bright and airy.
