Everything about this property was stellar. From Jeff, the gentleman who owns it to the gorgeous living room and space. The pilgrim dinner was top-notch and a lovely setting and fantastic wine. Everything about this property was perfect. There's nothing that I did not like

It was truly one of the best stays on the Camino. Jeff was a fantastic host and the casa was beautifully put together. I’ve slept in no better bed since home. Jeff also cooked a fantastic meal for me and the other pilgrims, complete with a couple of bottles of local wine. I’d highly recommend staying here. Absolutely nothing to complain about—10/10.

I had a confirmed booking at Casa El Colibrí and told them when I’d arrive, yet they later said there were no rooms left. I had to scramble for another place after a long day on the Camino. Pilgrims rely on confirmed reservations, especially when traveling long distances and arriving exhausted, and this place showed a total disregard for that. To top it off, I was charged $96 for a room I never used because they couldn’t honor my reservation, and I still haven’t gotten a refund. Even more absurd, they emailed me thanking me for my stay and asking for a positive review even though I never stayed. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is shocking. My advice to other pilgrims: think carefully before trusting this place with your Camino lodging. A confirmed reservation should matter, but at Casa El Colibrí it doesn’t. I’ll pursue a refund through my credit card company. I would never book here again.
