“Le pire hôtel recommandé par Booking.com”

The space and large room were good, staff were pleasant, but the rest… First, booking deliberately misled you by claiming a promotion that would drop from 163€ to 69€, yet the on‑site rate is 32€, the hotel feels like an old one. The floor coverings in the rooms are defective, the air‑conditioning unit is so loud it forced me to change rooms in the middle of the night, the mattress is too hard, and breakfast is awful with an unpalatable coffee. We didn’t touch it and left to grab a decent breakfast at Victor French Bakery. Another false claim like that and I’ll switch operators.

The staff were very attentive, well prepared, and professional, and the room was large, clean, and everything worked well. It was quite basic, which was fine for me. My room faced the canal road, so there was some traffic noise, but it was quiet during sleeping hours and I didn’t hear much from the nearby airport. There weren’t many services right around the hotel, and the airport was about 15 minutes away.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was good, but the bed felt a bit lumpy, so I didn’t sleep very comfortably.
