The rooms have an excellent location with a beautiful sea view, good public bus connections to Adelaide CBD, and a large shopping street nearby. After reporting an issue with my room to the hotel manager, we were assigned a different room without hassle. Unfortunately, the provided wine glasses were not clean, the room service fell short of expectations, and the pool area was likely cooler during the seasonal transition (room and water temperatures).

The place was convenient, but the spa suite was disappointing: half the jets were broken, the bedroom TV only showed lakes hotel footage, and the lounge TV had no sound. The worst part was a cricket match blaring at 11:30 pm while I tried to sleep. I called reception to complain about the room and the live cricket, and they said they'd report it to the manager the next morning, but I never heard back or received an apology. It was our wedding night, and we had planned to return in two weeks, but we cancelled and booked the Sofitel in the city instead.

The location was great and the free car parking was a bonus, but the bed felt too soft for my liking.
