The location and value were spot on, and nothing else to complain about—it was exactly what I needed.

“Terrible”

Nothing good. Everything was bad. The hosts were very rude. The kettle had a lot of scale, they tried to clean it but returned the same one still full of limescale, so we never used it. Hair in the bed, stains, the room was filthy, the sink was cracked, there were holes in the balcony that made it unsafe, the place was very run‑down, the bed was very uncomfortable, and I will never return.

The guy who welcomed us was very friendly, the family room was huge with a massive bathroom, and it was pretty clean though could be better. The facilities feel a bit dated. There’s a pub on the premises with a nice local vibe and reasonably priced drinks for the area. It’s a pass‑by spot if you’re not staying in Saint Andrews. It’s somewhat remote, but a supermarket and eateries are nearby. Pets are welcome.

“Nice room”

The location is good and close to amenities. The bedroom was nice, and having a fridge in the room was a bonus. The bed base was wider and longer than the mattress, taking up a few precious inches on each side and making the room feel smaller.
