The location was good and the room comfortable, and the scrambled eggs at breakfast were excellent, but the property looks a bit run down and needs updating; the shower head and hose in the bathroom needed replacing or at least a thorough scrub, and the carpets in the communal areas were dirty.

The place was clean, close to everything, the staff were amazing and breakfast was brilliant, and there were no major issues; the only hiccup was that Wi‑Fi was missing, which wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

The breakfast was superb and the hotel’s location was very convenient, but there were no 13‑amp sockets; in room 5 the only option was an extension lead with two sockets, and I had to give up one bedside lamp to use it.

The breakfast was lovely, I stayed in a single room that was very comfortable for me alone, and the staff were welcoming.

It was good value for money and located in the centre of Hawes, and the breakfast was fine, but there was no response to my advance requests for secure bike storage by phone or email; as a result the storage was not secure and my bike toolkit was stolen.
