The room was nice, but the building is poorly insulated so you can hear people in the hallway. The accommodation is expensive for this quality, but it’s pricey everywhere in Niseko.

The place is one of the few budget options around Gran Hirafu, and I liked the coin laundry, vending machine, and the communal eating utensils and glasses. However, the private rooms and shared areas weren't very clean; the showers had mold, and the men's bathroom on the 3rd floor was especially awful—stank of urinal cakes and no slippers, so urine spread everywhere.

“Great spot in lower Hirafu”

Everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English. My room felt quite spacious compared to other Japanese stays, and it was close to the free shuttle bus stop and a nice Izakaya. The hotel shuttle to and from the welcome centre made getting around simple, and the cheap breakfast plus vending machines were convenient. Just keep in mind the property spans several levels, so stairs could be a problem if you’re traveling with someone who has mobility issues.

There are about 5‑6 Western staff who are always ready to answer questions, and the place feels welcoming. The shower was old and paint was peeling off the walls, and the blankets were too short for me—I'm 6 feet tall.

Really good stay. It’s a 10‑15 minute walk to the bottom chairlift, which was easy. They also offered a free shuttle if you’re up early enough. The shared bathrooms worked well, and the location was convenient—many bars and dinner spots were just a 5‑15 minute walk away.
