Waterfront Hotel

The room was comfy and the breakfast was good.

“Waterfront Hotel”

It’s close to the sea front, clean, and really spacious. The keys were an issue: there was one for the front door and another for the room, both looking almost identical, probably newly cut so they were hard to fit into the locks. This made entering the premises a bit difficult. A simple for‑fit on one of the keys would make it easier to distinguish them.

“Over all generally good”

The staff were amazing; a bit more money spent on the hotel could update it a little. The bathroom cleanliness was an issue, though it was recleaned; the mattress was very lumpy, but they provided an extra quilt which made it less lumpy.

“Great budget hotel for overnight stay”

The staff were very polite, approachable and helpful, and even the information notices were informal and friendly. My room and bedding were clean and tidy, and the room was ready before the agreed time. The full English breakfast was top quality for a reasonable price, and they stocked my favourite Malbec red wine at a very reasonable price. The front of the hotel looked out at the sea. The building needs maintenance. My room was on the top floor, there was no lift and the stairs were steep and narrow. My room had a shared bathroom and toilet, which I knew before booking and was reflected in the price. My room faced the back of the hotel, looking out onto a car park and the roofs of several houses.
