The room is roomy with high ceilings and plenty of light; the windows were updated with double glazing while keeping the original wood panels, the appliances are new and very functional, and the bathroom is spacious and well-equipped. The only downside was that the property also hosts students and it was orientation week, so parties ran until 1‑2 AM on some nights and people shuffled up and down the old wooden stairs like a herd of elephants every few minutes.

The sofas in the courtyard are already in bad condition. Quietness, thanks to the surrounding bars, was only possible after 3 AM!

It’s impossible for this to be a 1‑star place; all the comments about noise are real, it’s HORRIBLE, you can’t sleep here. I was with my 3‑year‑old daughter, nobody slept. The windows vibrate and shake with the sound from the speakers. The building door urgently needs a frame.

Good location and the space was cozy. The noise was overwhelming, practically impossible to sleep. We felt like other guests were having a private party inside the accommodation and there was noise throughout most of the night, even at the door of our rooms. At 6 AM we called the accommodation in desperation, asking them to try to reduce the noise since we had to wake up early the next day, but nothing was done. They explained that next to the accommodation there was a student dormitory and that was the source of the noise. They also suggested transferring us to another property in the group, but that was infeasible at 6 AM, as we would have to wake up in a few hours. It was easier to go to the location and try to silence the guests, just as we had to do. Access by stairs, which worked fine for us, would be challenging for people with reduced mobility or babies! The next day they still asked where the keys were, which had been left on site. We replied via message and received no further response.
