The host was great, the place is in a solid spot—close to downtown, the train station, and the cruise terminal—so it felt safe. But we hit a snag: no hot water, and the host had to chase the issue, which made the stay a bit tricky. I’d advise skipping the laundry because the unit gets chilly, even though the facilities are there. Ed did what he could—thanks for that—but it seemed like a one‑off problem with city pipe work, and the shower heat was spotty while the kitchen had no hot water at all.

The room was spotless and very nice, and we had the flat all to ourselves, which was great. We used the living room for dinner and lounged on the sofa, though we weren’t sure if that was allowed—some clarification would help. The only downside was the weak water pressure in the bath, which made washing difficult.

The apartment was comfortable and well‑located, but the block wasn’t clearly marked, so guests might wander around looking for it.
