“We had a good stay”
The location is great, but the lighting system feels odd.

Al Tuscany, Lucca, sits in the historic center beside the ancient Roman Castrum crossroads, a stone’s throw from Guinigi Tower and San Martino Cathedral. The B&B offers modern rooms and suites, including a junior suite with panoramic city views. Its proximity to the train station links travelers instantly to Florence, Pisa, and San Gimignano.

The location is spot‑on, the staff are polite and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended!

The location was absolutely great. We had a nice large double room made of two rooms with two double beds. The décor is very old‑fashioned, somewhat in need of care, but very plush. The toiletries were a bit sparse. Parking was relatively easy, and the hotel is a five‑minute walk from the city centre. The breakfast was rather mediocre, with many pre‑packed ready‑to‑eat items, a small breakfast area, and everyone eating at the same table.

Inside the Old City of Lucca, a central and charming spot with a reasonable price, an elevator so no stairs, and the owner, Claudio, is pleasant. The room and bathrooms are cramped – the size is small and storage space minimal – but that’s understandable for the price.

The location is excellent and the services are good, but the attic room was tiny and a bit inconvenient.
