Nothing positive; it was a catastrophe! The place was extremely remote, and in Phetchaburi there are no taxis, motorbike taxis, tuk‑tuks, or buses… meaning 6‑7 km on foot! The only staff member spoke no English and even his translation app failed. The room had no windows. The wall paint had fallen off. The bed had no mattress, so I slept on a wooden plank. The “bed linen” was so dirty that I preferred to use my silk sleeping bag. The AC could neither be regulated nor turned off. I tried to cushion the bed with my stuff and slept with my winter clothes at 0 °C to avoid freezing in the under‑20 °C room. I practically didn’t sleep all night, left the accommodation in a hurry, and abandoned the second night. Cancellation was impossible. In Bangkok I could stay at a 4‑star hotel for the same price, where everything worked. This place is a total scam; unfortunately, everything else was booked out over the weekend. The next morning I found a guesthouse that was fully OK and much cheaper.
