The staff were very helpful and the location was convenient. However, the toilet leaked and the bathroom was constantly filled with water.

The hotel enjoys a prime central location in the city. The rooms are well‑appointed, clean, well‑maintained and quiet. Like many places here, we kept getting pushy offers for tours, transport and later stays, but the kayak tour we booked was genuinely good and probably the same deal you’d find elsewhere for the same price.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants in the town. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good AC and very hot water! The staff Dan and Thuy are very helpful 😊 It was also a great location for our bus as it dropped us at the door. Nothing it’s basic but totally fine.

The price was very affordable, and having a pool table was a nice bonus, but there were many maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout our stay. The swimming pool was extremely dirty and not inviting at all, and it looked very different from the photos. In our room, the shower faucet was broken and never fixed, the faucet next to the toilet was also broken, and there was a broken chair. The worst incident was when a pipe in the bathroom burst and flooded our room. Breakfast was very basic, which is understandable given the low price, yet surprisingly there was not even drinking water available. Another problem was the pressure from reception to book tours and activities through them; we felt uncomfortable, especially because some of the information we received was inaccurate and even misleading. Overall, the low price is attractive, but the poor maintenance, dirty pool and the problems we experienced made the stay disappointing.

The location and large rooms were great, but the staff were pushy and kept trying to sell us activities, even for places we hadn’t visited yet. When we went to the Phong Nah cave through the hotel, we later discovered we had paid far too much and were essentially ripped off. After a conversation with the manager, we received some compensation and apologies, yet the mistrust remained.
