The stay was fantastic, especially with the great restaurant right across the street. On the first floor there's a spacious terrace overlooking the lake, perfect for working, doing yoga, or chatting. Dong rode me around on his bike for two days, showing me his favorite spots, which let me see the working Batak villages and hike up hills without any drone or Instagram interference—really cool. Highly recommended.
