“Awesome. The host were very nice and had a pleasant stay”
The place was so peaceful and cozy, but I had trouble locating the nighttime housing signs.

Attending the Master Naturalist training course sponsored by Cornell in the Arnot Forest, I was hoping for more comfort than the “rustic” cabins promised, so I discovered this hidden log cabin on a country road within driving distance. In the balcony room, I could see a pretty pond and garden, and the spacious room featured a king‑size bed, a shower, a claw‑foot bathtub, and furnishings and art from the owner’s native country. Breakfast each morning was delicious and personalized, and I’m thrilled I found this spot! The only suggestion would be to add a box of tissues to the bathroom; otherwise, everything was great.

The hosts were terrific, the breakfast was all homemade and fantastic, and the room was cozy and relaxing—everything was excellent, so I can’t recommend it more!

I loved the location right in the woods with a pond and a nice wood garden. The place was a full apartment with two bedrooms, not just two beds, and it had a Japanese theme with wood log walls and log beds. Wanda and Sarah were very nice and welcoming, and the fresh breakfast of apple pancakes, crepes, and vegetables from their own garden made us feel at home.

My husband and I lived in Europe a few years ago, and this inn gave us the best continental breakfast we’ve had since moving back to the states—fresh, homemade, and delicious. The suite was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and there were trails around the property that were easy to walk and very nice. The ladies were great, treating all guests like friends visiting their home. The stairs to our suite were a minor inconvenience because of my back and joint issues, and parking was a bit tight for our truck, but both were outweighed by everything else.
