“A relatively enjoyable stay in a most historic city.”
The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, and all the staff were efficient, keen, and friendly; nothing was too much trouble. The location was superb, right in the middle of the city, so access to all the major sights was good, and there were some lovely restaurants and tavernas not too far away. The only sour note was an unfortunate incident away from the hotel: I had my mobile phone stolen on the Metro, even though it was zipped up inside a bag. Travellers should beware!!
