Everything was perfect – the welcome, the setting, the cleanliness, the quiet, the staff, the food, and especially the décor. Nothing was lacking.

The view! And the facilities were very modern. Great restaurant and wonderful staff. Jo at the front was so lovely and booked us a great tour. Very grateful. No bathroom door - just a curtain. Would be totally fine if traveling solo though

The jacuzzi was a very wonderful experience, the restaurant food was also very delicious. The service was great, always ready to serve.

I arrived at the lodge via a dirt road, which was a bit bumpy, but the surroundings were scenic. The lobby was beautifully designed, with a stunning fireplace area and comfortable seating. However, I was disappointed to find that the music played late at night was too loud and could be heard from my room. The staff seemed friendly, but communication was a bit challenging, and I had to ask multiple times for certain requests to be fulfilled.

I had an amazing stay at Ubucuti, enjoying impeccable accommodations with breathtaking views of Lake Kivu. The exceptional food and incredibly supportive staff, particularly Savine and Jean Marie, made our experience truly special. We appreciated the fantastic outdoor Jacuzzi, parking, and car cleaning service included in our room package, as well as the staff's help in organizing activities like boat rides and jet skiing. Overall, I highly recommend Ubucuti for a peaceful and private retreat.
