A stunning property in a unique location, tastefully furnished and comfortable two‑storey room, superb and special breakfast, absolutely friendly and likable staff, all in the most central spot of a typical Italian small town with many nice restaurants.

The taste and design of the accommodation – the conversion of an old olive mill – its details; the peace despite being in the old town; the comfort of the room on days that were excessively hot. And given the size of the place, the sense of familiarity with owners and staff.

The interior was beautifully decorated, modern and airy. The reception staff helped us book a great tour of Matera in a covered bus, exactly what we needed because the weather was hot and one of our group members couldn’t walk long distances.
