The reception was friendly, the location convenient, and breakfast was included. However, the dorms were noisy because people left the hostel at midnight, which is not the hostel’s fault.

I paid, but I received nothing in return. They turned me away because they had no spot for me in a mixed room.

Mi estancia en Home Genoa fue excelente. Todo el personal es majísimo y está dispuesto a ayudar en cualquier momento. Además hay un ambiente estupendo entre los alojados. Está razonablemente limpio, las habitaciones son amplias y es bastante cómodo. Se encuentra ubicado cerca de la estación de trenes de Brignole. El desayuno está bastante bien. Por la noche cierran la mayoría de los servicios. Sí madrugas puedes tener la mala suerte de encontrar los que están abiertos ocupados

It was very close to Brignole train station, and I liked having free breakfast. The hostel was almost impossible to locate—Google Maps didn’t list it and it oddly appeared linked to another hostel (Victoria Hostel). They charged €10 for laundry, which felt a bit steep; the bathroom floor was always very wet and dirty; there was no AC in the rooms; the bunk beds were squeaky and shook with the slightest movement; and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work.
