The spot is unique, the tents are nice, and the hiking trails and tours are good, though the dinner is only okay and doesn’t match the price level of the place.

The beautiful spot in nature with a view of Spitzkoppe is great, but the food could have been better for the high price you pay; even though it was mentioned beforehand that there would be no issue, they served couscous (which contains gluten) to someone who must eat gluten‑free.

Every single aspect of Spitzkoppe Lodge was outstanding: the rooms were beautiful, the location offers incredible mountain views and stargazing, and the staff went above and beyond—my wife had food poisoning from our time in Swakopmund, and the team provided paracetamol, hydration sachets, and even arranged a discounted extra night so she could recover. I can’t praise this place enough; the whole team deserves recognition for their hospitality.
