The bungalows were fairly clean, but nothing was explained to us: the supposedly on‑site restaurant was closed. The hotel is isolated, so getting to town isn’t obvious. We arrived at 17h30 and were greeted by a guard who only speaks Thai; he called the owner, who told us to order dinner via Grab for delivery. There was no bar on site to buy a drink. After settling into our bungalow, supposedly equipped (only two champagne glasses in the guide), and eating the Grab‑delivered meal, we went to bed. Then we heard a bat hanging in the bamboo structure of the bungalow. We messaged the owner, who didn’t reply until the morning. We left at 22h30 to sleep peacefully at the country retreat, which for the same price offers far superior service. If you like doing everything yourself and staying in an isolated bungalow, it’s fine. Otherwise, other properties in the same category will give you a much better experience.
