Hampton Inn by Fort Morgan is a solid spot; the beds are comfy, rooms tidy and clean, and the coffee and breakfast were perfect for fueling a 10‑hour drive, though a neighbor’s barking dog was a nuisance.

The property was very clean and the room was comfortable, but my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, even though it was over an hour past check‑in, and there was no urgency to get it set up.

Michael at the check‑in desk was incredibly helpful, answering our questions about how to find the library and giving us tips for seeing Pike’s Peak; his smile was a welcome relief after a long day of traveling. I can’t think of any negatives!
