I spent one night at 池上穗日民宿 Inami B&B in September 2026 with a group of eight friends, booking five double rooms that overlooked the mountains. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. We were treated to a lovely afternoon tea upon arrival, followed by a welcome gift box filled with local tea, snacks, rice, noodles, and honey. We also received vouchers for selected restaurants in town, which was a generous touch. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding paddy fields. The shower had good water pressure, and each room had a washing machine outside, which was a great bonus. We enjoyed the free bicycle rental outside the accommodation, making it easy to explore the area. Spacious lounge areas on the first and third floors offered complimentary snacks, tea, and coffee—perfect for relaxing after a day out. A small café on the first floor added to the convenience. The property also featured a unique postcard corner where guests could write cards to themselves or loved ones and choose a mailing date each season, a charming idea that lets guests send a surprise long after their trip. Overall, the stay at Inami B&B was wonderful: scenic surroundings, comfortable rooms, friendly hospitality, delicious welcome treats, bicycles, and thoughtful details made it an amazing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chishang. Nothing was lacking; it was a perfect stay and great value.

The front desk staff were quite friendly, and the overall cleanliness was good; the complimentary food was sincere. The price was a bit high, and although the balcony view was supposed to be beautiful, it didn’t live up to my expectations.

“Superb first trip to Taitung”

The location is perfect, with a great view of the field from the balcony, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean, and it’s convenient that bicycles are parked right across the building. Nothing negative to mention.
