Hotel Oleggio Malpensa

A great hotel near Malpensa Airport (about 17 minutes) on the outskirts of Milan, where I stayed the night before my flight. The area is quiet, parking is plentiful and good, the room is small but acceptable, and it has a nice little balcony. The reception was excellent; Filippo was very helpful, assisted with my luggage, and recommended a nearby restaurant that turned out to be great—thanks to him. Overall a good experience that I would repeat if I have a flight from the airport. The negatives: the sound insulation between floors is a bit weak, so I could hear people’s footsteps above me. The reception closes at 11 pm and opens in the morning.

Rooms were clean and fine, the breakfast was excellent, and it’s about a 10‑15 minute drive from Milan Airport. The shower head had a broken piece on it and they didn’t replace it.

Close to the airport, but the rooms were stuffy, the air‑conditioning system was broken and noisy, and the property feels old and has not been modernised for a long time.

“Buon compromesso per una sola notte”

It has a lower price than other places in the area while still offering the same services, and it’s 20 minutes from Malpensa. It’s not spotless, there is no staff after a certain time, only an emergency number.
