This Istanbul hotel was a real pleasant surprise; the price‑to‑quality ratio was outstanding. For 50 euros a night they even included breakfast every day, which already made a big difference. I especially liked how the staff behaved—intelligent, respectful, and discreet. They didn’t keep barging into the room with pointless cleaning, which made the stay much more comfortable. After staying at some overpriced hotels elsewhere, this felt especially refreshing. Everything here was calm, decent, and well‑balanced, and in the end it was an honest, comfortable, and great‑value place to stay.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were smiling and welcoming - it's clear that this is a family-run business. The rooms are spotless, and they've thought of everything, from tea and coffee to a comfortable bed. There are a few different room types to choose from, and the staff were happy to let us know that we could upgrade if we wanted to. The location is also great, just a short walk from the metro. Overall, it's a great value for the price.

The staff were nice, but unfortunately, that was about the only good thing about our stay. The room reeked of smoke, and the bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. There was no mention of this on the booking website or at reception, and the WiFi didn't work either. The view was nothing special, and the room was dirty, with a cracked floor and a wonky sink. To top it all off, there was no closet or storage space, and we had to share a single blanket. It was a pretty disappointing experience.
