Everything fell short. The rooms were far below expectations, cleaning was inadequate, breakfast barely met the mark, and the dinner at the Hosteria del maiale was disappointing in both service and wine quality. The visit to the Museum of Culatello was a bright spot.

It’s set a bit off the beaten path but the property is beautiful.

Breakfast was good, and the service at the Hosteria restaurant, especially during dinner, was very friendly. The receptionist, however, wasn’t particularly pleasant. In our room we couldn’t open the windows, which was a shame and made it very dark.

The 10/10 rating feels understated. The décor, the view, the cleanliness, and the thoughtful preparation of my take‑away breakfast box for my early flight made the two days unforgettable. The hospitality from Francois, Federeca the chef, and the restaurant staff were all wonderful. I’ll return.
