The shower was fine, but smokers next to us, poor ventilation, the breakfast, and the staff’s friendliness left something to be desired.

Everything was very well taken care of—the reception, the room, the breakfast, the bike storage, and the staff were all very friendly, and they even gave me a bottle of homemade wine when I checked out.

“Niet tevreden”

The location was good, but the way we were told to find the room was confusing: I booked for 3 adults and a 9‑year‑old, yet the instructions only covered the adults. The pillows were just clumped together, wrapped in a cover that wouldn’t shake out, so I threw them away because they were unusable. I was promised a room with a large double bed and two sofas, but there was only one sofa, and the pillows for the head of the bed were stuffed into the sofa, so you had to lie with your head down. The head pillows couldn’t be filled, so they were also terribly bad. The sofa was in a small room that barely fit it, and the light couldn’t be turned off to darken the bed. The breakfast buffet was the same every day, and if you didn’t eat before 9 am, there was almost nothing left, and it wasn’t fresh daily.

The family room was pretty nice, clean, and comfortable, with a tidy shower area and a balcony. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, but nothing particularly special.
