The stay at Casa Idaman Motel was a huge let‑down. At check‑in we were asked for a RM100 deposit. Our room had two towels; the day before checkout we left both inside. When we returned, only one towel remained, but we didn’t mention it then. At checkout the staff inspected the room, claimed a towel was missing, and said they would deduct RM35 from our deposit. We explained that we had left both towels and that one was already gone when we returned, yet the staff refused to listen, became rude, and uncooperative. We had no reason to take a hotel towel, so being charged for a missing item that disappeared from our room was extremely frustrating. The room quality was poor compared with the photos: many fittings and items felt cheap and fragile, and the bathroom door seemed flimsy enough to break with normal use. Wi‑Fi was another issue; we couldn’t get it from our room and had to use the lobby, which is very inconvenient. What disappointed us most was not the RM35 but the staff’s attitude and how they handled the situation. Instead of investigating what happened to the towel, they immediately blamed us, deducted money from our deposit, and were rude when we tried to explain. The property may look decent online, but our actual experience was completely different. Poor room quality, bad Wi‑Fi, unprofessional service, and an unfair deduction from our deposit. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

I first stayed at this motel in 2016 and came back again. It’s located at the beginning of the well‑known, long, lively street. Not much has changed since then; the only major addition is a new swimming pool, which is a nice touch. Otherwise the motel is basically the same as ten years ago. It’s a quiet place to stay and offers good value for money. For the price, it’s definitely worth it!
