The room was very well equipped and comfortable, and the host Lesley is very friendly, authentic, and eager to share her knowledge of Cromwell, the region, and its history (thanks again). The breakfast offered is varied and complete. The location is ideal for exploring the area. The only drawback is the proximity to SH 6, which can be heard from outside, but Lesley apparently had the necessary soundproofing work done.

Leslie was super friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast had great seasonal fruit and homemade preserves. The rural location was perfect for me, just 5 minutes from Highlands and 10 minutes from Cromwell.

The place felt cozy and warm, bathrooms were spotless, the room was spacious, comfy and even had a mini fridge and kettle. We ate breakfast with the hostess and she gave us plenty of useful tips.

We had a flawless stay – everything was perfect and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. Nothing to complain about.

The host made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was lovely. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were acceptable.
