The front square has a huge lawn that looks meant for campers, and as soon as I stepped into the room I caught the scent of tatami; the mattress felt incredibly comfy, though the public bath was rather small and got full once more than five people were inside, so it’s best to steer clear of peak times.

The view of the sunset from the sea front and the 24‑hour bath are great. The toilet is a bit far, but that’s part of the hostel’s design.

The staff treated me with great courtesy, but the shower’s temperature‑adjustment valve was stiff and wouldn’t turn – it seemed to have been fixed in place.

The parking area is spacious and the location offers a nice view of the sea, yet the facilities feel dated and the water‑related areas show a concerning amount of mold.
