The setting is beautiful and quiet, yet the pillows were uncomfortable and I couldn’t adjust the bath water temperature; the basin water was hotter than the bath, so I preferred a hot bath. The staff were all lovely and accommodating, though the maître d was a bit abrupt.

Everything was very nice, especially the location and the electric vehicle charging, except for the breakfast manager who was unpleasant and very directive.

The room was lovely with a great view of the estuary, the food was excellent, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. It was a special couple of days away for my wife’s birthday and we had a great time, largely thanks to this hotel and its staff. There were no dislikes at all, everything was brilliant. I can’t wait to go back.

The breakfast was good and tasty, with a wide selection, and the service was friendly and quick. The bar could have stayed open a bit longer.
