The location was amazing and the hotel itself was great, with very attentive staff—exactly what we needed for a break from traveling around South America, and the food was amazing too.

The Senda hotel is the closest to Tayrona and sits right in the middle of nature along the river, a wonderful spot for spotting birds and walking. The little pool by the room is very pleasant, breakfast is served at the table and is definitely good, and the other menu items are of good quality. However, we had stayed earlier at another Senda hotel and found the price here relatively high. We missed some décor in the room and more furniture; we had a spacious chalet with 2 rooms and a kitchen, but the three spaces are not connected by interior doors. Also, there is no table with chairs or a lounge area to sit except outside, which is a problem if it rains, as we expected daily. The room was also poorly maintained, with many dust pockets that stayed throughout our 4‑day stay. We reported the curtains that could barely close or open and mentioned that the battery in the bar’s smoke detector needed replacement; the beep in the detector stayed frustratingly on the entire stay. You pay more for the location than for the luxury.

Alles! Heerlijk huisje, fijn zwembad, goed eten en heel lief personeel. Het ontbijt is ook heerlijk! We zijn helemaal in de watten gelegd. Niks, alles was top!
