I’ve never seen a place so filthy in my life. The floor is sticky, all kitchen utensils are greasy and dirty, and the dish‑washing sponge was covered in a huge, disgusting slime. Under the bed there was a door and a dead cockroach—absolutely repulsive, I’m at a loss for words. The shower was also disgusting, and there was no clean spot in the accommodation. I’ve never seen anything like this! The kitchen and the room had a bad smell, the bed linens also smelled awful, so we had to open the windows as soon as we arrived. The TVs weren’t working, so I spoke to the owner the next day, and he appeared unannounced in the morning, waking me and my friend; we were startled and didn’t know who had entered. When I opened the door and asked who they were, I realized it was the owner, which calmed me down. They gave us two cables to plug into the TV so it would work, but we tried it and it didn’t work during our stay. It had potential, but a thorough deep clean is urgently needed.

The location is good, but the cleanliness is terrible—nauseating smell, dirty room, a door under the bed with a dead cockroach, cotton; the furniture is worn out, and the sheets are dirty. 😡 A real mess! We slept on the living room chair and used the towels we brought on the same chair.

“Vale muito a Pena.”

The bed was comfortable, everything was very simple, but it felt like a grandma’s house from back in the day, so you feel very welcomed. The highlight was the cleanliness; the bed linens smelled great, the cleaning scent was strong, and all the linens and towels had a pleasant odor. The bathroom was clean, the microwave was very clean, and I was definitely surprised by the level of cleanliness and the comfortable bed. We slept very well, the environment was quiet, and we slept with the window open—everything was very calm. I recommend it; the cost‑benefit is definitely worth it. The only downside was that the entrance looked less clean and organized than the rest of the place; the exterior façade could use some improvement.

The apartment is in such bad condition that it can’t be considered a local lodging. Completely filthy and degraded.
