Location, cleanliness, owner’s kindness. The breakfast should have been included in the price, but it wasn’t.

Located right next to the cathedral and castle. We had a quiet room on the first floor.

The location was very good. The room was renovated and comfortable even though it’s an old building. Giovanni was very helpful, kind, and respectful whenever we had any minor issues. The included breakfast was adequate to start the day, with a very good coffee and a croissant (choose the filling) at a bar next to the accommodation.

The location was fine. Upon arrival they greeted us in what they call the reception: a cramped closet with more dust than an archaeological dig. The scent? A unique fragrance, a mix of mold, cellar and despair. We thought, “maybe the room will lift the mood.” Illusion. Climbing the stairs, every step was an olfactory survival test. In the room, the shock: grimy floor with a collection of hair worthy of an animal salon, stained sheets (probably witnesses of unsolved crimes) and a bathroom that would scare even CSI staff. The shower? A sanctuary dedicated to limescale. The mirror? So full of streaks we could use it to observe solar eclipses without protective glasses. After pointing all this out, the host sent someone to “clean”: result? They only rearranged the dirt. Maybe they hoped for an optical effect. Booking was absent like background characters in B‑movie films: no hope for help. In short: more than a stay, an extreme endurance reality show. Recommended only for those wanting to test their antibodies or join a sequel to “Don’t Open That Door.” For everyone else: run away on your feet, and if you must book here… bring at least bleach and an exorcist.
